I actually bought a few copies of this myself and so glad that it made it to number one, usually I really don’t care for things like this but it was an interesting and entertaining experience.  The power of social groups is quite amazing really, several hundred thousand people all get together with the sole purpose of stopping simon cowell getting another christmas number one and they did it.

I think for the first time in my entire life I listened to the top 40 countdown and was kinda nervous when there was only 2 songs left to be announced, oh the suspense!

There were leaked charts showing up on the net several hours before the official result, however you still cant believe these are genuine until its announced.

The most important thing with all this is that it has shown that the people can and do make a difference.  So lets hope that going forward this is just the start of many new things to come.
